Parking (€1.60 an hour) around here costs only marginally less than in Frankfurt, which is the Big Smoke.
Mainz is a village in comparison.

And that’s in a small town…In NYC, Chicago, LA – you’d see $10-$15 hourly rate and more.That’s why I prefer public transportation whenever available. I lived in Europe for many years without a car.
