If you’re like me and somewhat easily confused, signs like this are a blessing sent from heaven.
They prevent one, for example, from turning up at K. Schäfers’ premises and demanding a pound of pork sausages.
Quick look at the signage and you know you should be buying bread.
Or should I be buying tickets for “The Lion King”….?
See what I mean about “easily confused”?
>I thought it was a pair of handcuffs!
>But it does make me hungry for a great big german bretzel with lots of salt (dipped in mustard for my wife)! Re: the lion, european families seem to stick a lion on everything, signifying strength and royalty and such.
>Well, there are sheafs of wheat in there, right? As well as paddles for removinb bread from the oven? An interesting logo for the bakery; perhaps it’s a family crest? I’m confused.
