The local boys have barely reached the semi-finals and there are flags everywhere and excessive public enjoyment and whathaveyou.

They’re also attaching things to the national flag.

Mostly cars, some of which have to share 2 flags – one stuck firmly in each window.

Plus this chappy, who stands guard outside the Fastnachtsmuseum (Carnival Museum) in the Proviantamt.

Hate to think what’s going to happen if they reach the final.
