..bang in the middle of the fields on the way to Hechtsheim.

I have NO IDEA what it’s there for.

As you can see, it’s wall-to-wall bugger all out there.

It might be a high-tech bird perch, if the dropping’s are anything to go by.

Knowing Mainz, it’s probably a Roman relic.

(They did have plastic back in those days, right?)
