It’s quite amazing.

You can live here for decades and overlook something that’s right under your nose.

Research tells me that this is the western defensive perimeter of the Roman settlement, Vintaro, that was settled in 2 BC.

I must have driven past it a thousand times and not noticed it until the other day. It’s certainly withstood the test of time well.

Coincidentally, the new subdivision is tucked right in behind it.

Good thinking, someone.

It should give them some relief from the B40 traffic.

Those chariots are bloody noisy…
