Hinterland

Accepted that railway stations tend not to be the best visiting card for a city/town/hamlet (it’s almost like you’re being mooned…), but the further one ventures out into the countryside around here, the direr they get.

I nodded off on the train to Alzey the other day and when I woke up, I thought I’d been beamed to Transylvania….
