En France, on procède différemment…

(They do it differently in France.)

Mainz used to be French, Strasbourg used to be German so it’s legit MDP territory.

Marché de Noël

With music…

Place heaving with visitors, hotel prices double normal rates and the CBD blocked to non-residents of that bit of the city.

More P&Rs than you can shake a stick at, costs €4.20 FOR THE WHOLE DAY and you can take your family of France being RC…) SEVEN on the tram into the city (7 minutes) for free.

FOR THE WHOLE DAY!

There you find little groups of huts comme ceux-ci selling all sorts of goodies.

Forget shitty mulled wine that gives you migraine after a sip. They really nice stuff, served by the vintner or vintneress his/her/itself.

Oubliez bratwurst and pomme frites. Pourquoi pas un foie gras sandwich from that stand in the middle.

Ou un coupe de champagne?

Fabulous (and very much OTT) lighting.

Et ce n’est qu’un simple saut de puce de Mayence
