The female of the species and their offspring are instructed to take the detour.
And we blokes?
Are we meant to clamber over the fence and risk our lives being masculine, tramping through the building site, or what?
My Uncle John was onto something when he said he preferred flying Air France.
“If there’s an accident” he’d say ” there’s none of this crap about women and children first…”

>…because of course we would need the big strong men to repopulate the world…oh..no wait…only need one of you!!!I am kidding…very funny post!
>An amusing entry write up for such a simple sign.
>It looks to me as though they are being directed towards the tram lines – surely that can’t be right?ah no; the sign’s pointing left.
>lol! 🙂
>And you blokes? Well, you kindly line up behind us! What else? ;DFun post and commentary!
>Definitely, women and children should be first! I like this sign.
>Funny commentary … it is interesting how many stick figures are appearing on street signs this theme day. I would not have expected this.
>No disrespect meant, but your Uncle John is “full of crap” himself; I much prefer women and children first. I recall a bomb scare on one of my flights (small aircraft) when I shouted to the passengers, “Follow me!” as I led the way and was the first one off the airplane! How’d you like them apples??
>I never thought about women and children first in quite the same way as your uncle.I didn’t participate this month as I found nothing worthwhile to photograph among the few street signs and lights that we have where I live. Maybe next time.
>Funny! Nice photo.
>lol, I like this sign.. 😉 I think it would be fun to see you blokes attempt to climb that fence and cross the mess ahead. ;)Greetings from Oslo
>Hahaha … funny sign indeed. Happy theme day !
>Great picture. Though it could mean ‘Women and Children Barred From All The Fun Spots’, too. 🙂
>That’s good one, JB.My new lens is Tamron (not even Nikkor) but 17-50 F2.8. The 10-20 is next or a telephoto lens first? We never know.
