“Susses oder saures”, they chimed unisono, with a bit of prompting from the accompanying Yummy Mummies.
“Sweet or sour”, which appears to be local equivalent of “Trick or treat”.
Seeing that my current diet (I’m fasting for a week..) consists primarily of cider vinegar and water, I was going to invite them to join me in a tipple.
Ms jb rapidly put the kibosh on that and liberally distributed chocolates to all and sundry to squeals of glee.
Certainly made my mouth water….
