>Having a good time/not so good time – #799

>

Back in Nelson cutting hay the other week, so met up with Meg and Ben from the excellent Nelson Daily Photo for a coffee at the Red Gallery.
Which was closed.
You’d think they’d know that, being locals and all that.
We wrestled (sorry, can’t help it…) awhile with the alternatives and settled on Zumo across the road, a shed-ey sort of place surrounded by a multitude of benign bikers.
We had a great time. As you can see.
Not too sure about the folks on the other side of the table, though.
Looks pretty much like a classic case of “bed, getting out of the wrong side of” to me

  1. >Glad to have met both Meg (a former St. Paul resident) and Ben! Her weaving blog is terrific as are Ben's photos!

  2. >JB the Robust, I love these photos. Like meeting your (our?) blog friends. Great when that happens. Of course you could have drug yourself to Paris this summer but noooooo, that was too far to go . For the love!!! The other crowd just needs to wait on that caffeine to kick in and they'll be perky in no time.V

  3. >Oh, she's as thin as a rake in real life – I just photoshopped an extra 15k on her.Or it was the lens

  4. >Who's that fat woman???
