A man after my own heart – #1574

Didn’t know that Marc Chagall was a drinking man, but why else would he smuggle a serving wench carrying 2 decent sized glasses of ale into one of his windows in the St Stephans church.

Could of course be Moses on his way back down Mt Sinai with the 2 tablets with the 10 Commandments. Further research is necessary…..

  1. “Engel Aloisius”, the beer-loving celestial messenger (aka “Alois Hingerl” aka “Münchner im Himmel”) might as well be a man after your heart.

  2. Be still my heart! I love, love, love these windows!!
