Danger! Impending blindness! – #1666

Now, I’m not for the Nanny State, with bureaucrats telling you what you can and can’t do at their whim

(Friends are renovating a 1930s cottage in New Zealand. It’s been stained vernacular black with a pale green roof for the last 80-odd years. Council says…can’t have it black with a pale green roof. Pale green walls, yes. Dark grey roof, yes. But the other way around – the way it’s always been. not a chance.Otherwise, it’s an eyesore, dontcha know)

But someone needed to step in and tell these people that this isn’t on.

It’s like looking a solar eclipse with your bare eyes….
