Paper Art – #1671

Work this out for yourselves.

A university lecturer (lost her card…) does this sort of stuff in her spare time.

Makes a box out of cardboard (phenomenal artisanal skills, believe me) and decorates the with images that she …er… finds.

Discovered her at Frank the Potter’s autumnal market at the weekend.

Trivia alert: She told me that her students (she teaches them the skills of bookbinding and creating objects from paper)  appear to have lost the spatial skills of grasping object.

“They’re clumsy” she said ” Babies and toddlers can do it, but their sole interaction with the world appears to be texting with thumb and forefinger.

Which aligns well with the theory of our friend Isla who reckoned that the human race would end up with little stubs on the periphery of their hands….
