A very young looking 50…..

Anton, Berti, Conni are cartoon characters created by ZDF, one of the 2 national TV channels supported by TV license fees.

They date back to 1963 (black and white back then…) to comply with the requirement that advertising and program were identifiably separate.

And so it remains today.

And these days, they’ve even got their own T-shirt collection.
