Lunch with a view #1822

ntndp

Vivienne Fox has been a star in Nelson’s culinary night sky for as long as I can remember.

She and her husband Tom opened the Apple Shed cafe/bar/restaurant in late 2010, replacing the Smokehouse Cafe which the Foxes used to run, but which folded under the folk who took over their lease.

It’s good to have them back.

And New Zealand being the country of 2 degrees of separation (rather than 6, as applies to the rest of the planet), Vivenne’s daughter Kate is Ms jb’s hairdresser and Tersha (who used to co-own Lydia’s Cafe in Richmond) is in the kitchen.

No wonder the food’s so good….IMG_3937 IMG_3935 IMG_3936 IMG_3934
