Mere metres from the spot where we rendezvoused with Bro Paul last year in August, I stumbled over (nothing broken, but thanks for asking…) this rubbish bin/trash can in Bad-Kreuznach’s pedestrian precinct sporting the following exhortation in local dialect:

NOT IN THE ROAD!
