I’ve been helping organise the Alzey Pottery Market for the past few years – set up their website, got some decent content from the potters (a profile so that people know what they look like, what they do and how the came to ceramics) and got some exposure going in the media.
Getting more and more hits on the website – up 30% YOY compared with 2012 – and got an article published in one of the leading European ceramics magazines. Plus a couple of features in lifestyle mags.
So quite happy with the way it’s going.
And I got a nice mail from one of the potters, saying that it was his best market at Alzey ever (and it’s been going 27 years…) and thanking me for the (pro-bono) work I’ve put into it.
That’s nice….
Thanks for the link, jb. Very professional photos; I am impressed but not surprised. Great work. Pro bono. . . you’re not kidding; for free?!
Get a flat pittance to cover expenses, but yes…for free. Potters are as poor as church mice.
Good on you, jb! Nice shot.
