Sidearm….

…is what you Americans (depending on which state/state of mind) reckon is good to carry openly when you go to Walmart or to your local church.

Over here, it’s the literal translation of Seitenarm, a distributary of a river separated from the main channel by an island, in this case the Mühlarm and the Sändcheninsel close to Nackenheim.

Only get this view from the cycle track that runs from Oppenheim up to Mainz.
