Tea for two….

IMG_8296

and two for tea one for coffee.

Here we are again!

I had the pleasure of first meeting Petrea Burchard of the erstwhile Pasadena Daily Photo way back in June 2011 on my way down to New Zealand.

Her husband John Sandel, script writer and indie film producer, (Namedrop warning: I sent a link to his film to a friend, who was in recent times President of Paramount Studios and the most powerful woman in Hollywood. She thought it was good) chaperoned our next meeting a year or so later and a lunch date with the four of us a year after that got tripped up by Petrea’s migraine attacks.

But this time it worked.

We met for teas and latte at Vroman’s book store in Pasadena (the oldest indie bookstore in California) last week and it was as if we’d known each other for ever.

Again.

  1. Forgive me for missing this! We had no wifi for a couple of days, it was like being marooned.

It was lovely to see you and meet Ms. JB (Al! I love that).

V, I thought you’d met John! We must remedy that next time you’re here.

I am insanely jealous. I”ve had the pleasure of meeting dear Petrea, but not Mrs. JB or John. I’m glad you all got to spend some good time together.

  3. Coffee or tea, this looks like a good time was had by all!

  4. A great setting for the meeting, and please tell Al that I would love a handbag just like hers!! Must be great for traveling!
