If you’ve got vineyards in Appenheim’s Hundertgulden block, you’d be a happy vintner.

Gets all day sun, has the right mineral content, drains well and all you have to do is to tweak a bit in he cellar to make a REALLY GOOD wine.

That’s what my friend Jürgen tells me, anyway.

He leases a block from a banker in Frankfurt who isn’t concerned about making a huge profit.

Just lets Jürgen get on with it.
