Feininger and Kubin

Boehringer  is a major life science corporation based in Ingelheim, just around the corner – 22km, under an hour oN the bike – from here.

A major employer in the region and they do all sorts of good stuff in the community that stays very much under the radar.

One is the annual  “Internationale Tage” art initiative that’s been running since 1959.

It’s now presented in the old town hall, a building dating back to 1859 and always exquisitely curated.

Costs sod-all-and-tuppence to view the exhibition and it has never disappointed.

Lionel Feininger and Alfred Kubin this year, with their works juxtaposed and organised thematically.

Runs until 2 August
