Liesel Metten

Liesel Metten, who lives in Nieder-Olm, 4km down the B40, is more than a local hero.

You’ll find her mythical and whimsical bronze figures in town squares and unexpected corners of villages.

Major exhibition of her work at the Goethe House in Frankfurt

  1. I visited one of the artist’s websites that is filled with images of her artwork. She does indeed produce sculptures that are unique and very whimsical. I’m not quite sure what the subject is of the sculpture you photographed but she has many more of animals that are pretty awesome.
