Ephemeral (from Greek εφήμερος – ephemeros, literally “lasting only one day”)

This lasted < 2 minutes, being a core component of my celebration of New Zealand’s All Blacks beating Australia’s Wallabies 34:17 in the final of the Rugby World Cup last night

(For the colonials: the competition is ranked 3rd in global media significance behind the Olympics and the FIFA football (soccer to you) World Cup. Super Bowls and the World Series [sic] get wooden spoons)
