The annual Ceramics Market in Alzey yesterday so I rocked over on the bike to annoy Mrs jb (who was helping Mrs Frank the Potter as usual) and to have a lurk around.

Plus to get some images for their blog which I set up for them last year (and for which they showed their appreciation with 6 bottles of wine from a really good vineyard)

The usual suspects plus this year they’re showcasing 2 recent ceramic design graduates from the Technical College for Ceramics in Höhr-Grenzhausen, Susanne Schmiedchen and Julia Hass.

Especially impressed by Julia Hass’s porcelain work – technically good and full of self-confidence.

The girl’s going to be good.
