Your mate’s doing a better job at smiling – #1408

These 2 young folk from the city’s Horticultural Division ( I kid you not….) were hard at work at just after 7 a.m. the other day, tugging out tired looking bedding plants from the garden between the Cathedral and the Gutenberg museum and generally keeping the place up to scratch.

Beams all round.

Mainz, I missed you so much! Those days of 80’s/90’s were the essence of my life here in Brazil. I wish I could be a “Meenzer” !!! Herzlische Grüsse von Luis aus Brasilien my liebe Mainz!

  4. I think the guy is a statue since he is essentially the same in both photos. I don’t mind being a blue symbol…never a square.

  5. You crack us all up jb.

PS Looks like WP has decided I am forever to be the orange square. I was sort of hoping for blue but ………..
