Those were the days – #1808

The Fischergasse – as the name indicates – was in days gone by the centre of all things piscatorial in Mainz, in the same way that the Eisenturm marked the location of the metal market and the Holzturm that of the wood industry.

You’d be hard pushed to buy fish caught in the Rhine these days, though.

Not really sure that I’d really want, IIQH.

BASF, Sandoz et al upstream from us….?
