It all started with a group of artists in Tasman, a small village 30km from Nelson, with Steve Fullmer, internationally acclaimed ceramicist (I have the honour of doing his website ) as their nucleus.

Instead of having tourist driving right past the village, they thought, why not let them know that it’s worth stopping and having a look.

That was the 7 artists bit.

The other skilled tradespeople felt a bit left out.

And kept adding themselves.
