It took the council a while (and they’ve probably forgotten whose idea it was in the first place anyway), but they’ve certainly got cracking in the beautification department, with just MASSES of daffodils sprouting up wherever you look in the village.
Quite cool.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. I’ll spare you the poem about them (perhaps overused but still full of great images), and just say that it’s a great shot, filled with hopes of spring finally arriving.
My municipality have similar project. If I remember correctly it started two years ago. All of a sudden we noticed flowers at roundabouts and along the roads.
