Gonsenheim’s one of the flasher suburbs of Mainz – wide main drag lined with a significant number of fine older buildings (well, not REALLY old..) and good shops, some elegant wooded residential areas (where you’ll find more media and business people than you can shake a stick at), good public transport.
And Rudi’s pub where you can watch football on Pay TV on the big screen
