The Green Party has – on occasion – some fairly good ideas. (Some fairly loopy ones too: Don’t bother fixing potholes, just lower the speed limit….)

The city councilor with the Environment and Traffic portfolios, Katrin Eder, has come up with the idea of replacing the bedding plants surrounding the drummer statue bordering on the Schillerplatz with tomato, zucchini, aubergine (that’s egglant to you..), cucumber and kohlrabi plants.

All coming along very nicely as of this morning and I’m looking forward to seeing the locals lining up in their usual orderly manner to partake of the harvest………
