Remember the 650 year old trunk of an ancient elm tree in the neighbouring village of Ober-Olm?

Well, some pea-brained little twerps tried to set it alight the other night. Sometime between New Year’s Eve (when I took the original photo) and Sunday (when I took this one.)

Hope the police catch them and hang them up by the balls.
