And then there are the ubiquitous hospital romance novelettes, Dr. Norden being merely one in a field of n+1, but with 850 titles and sales figures of 180 million, they must be doing something right.

And there’s a whole community behind the brand, discussing ailments and possible cures as if they were talking to a real doctor instead of someone who’s a fellow reader….
