My young friend Lena is studying law (but I’ve almost forgiven her for that)
She’s spent the last 3 months as a foreign comparative law clerk in a judge’s chambers at the Supreme Court of Israel in Jerusalem.
His recommendation letter is quite stunning.
“Ms S conducted research on a range of principal issues in the areas of constitutional, administrative and criminal law.
In all of these field. Ms S demonstrated a profound understanding of the relevant material. She was brilliant, diligent and industrious in carrying out assigned tasks and was always ready to tackle new challenges. She demonstrated integrity, thoroughness, creativity and highly original thought….her overall performance and contribution to the chambers were superior”
It continues on in this vein, but I had difficulty reading further.
To quote Lowell George: “And it must be dust or smoke that’s in my eyes…”
I don’t think I could have been any prouder…..
Bravo to Lena!
