How it started

Ursula Groden-Kranich (CDU = centre-centre-centre-right) was Mainz’s directly elected MP for the last 2 legislative sessions of the Bundestag.

Place was plastered with her election posters, along with those of non-baldie Baldy

You think – young, dynamic, says she’s straight-forward and honest (Klar! Ehrlich!), think I’ll put a couple of bob on her and get her back in the Bundestag

How it’s going

Turns out she’s been a tad “economical with the actualité“.

Now, I know that federal elections aren’t a beauty contest, but this is a bit ripe.

And I’m not saying that people saw through the charade and gave her a kicking (which they did, booting her out of parliament), but I’d have difficulty reconciling the “honest” claim with this un-Photoshoppery….
