Scheck-In (no, don’t ask me…) is a local supermarket belong to the Edeka chain, one of the 2 legacy supermarket groups fighting for their lives against the discounter (Aldi, Lidl et al) and the shitty downmarket places (Netto, Penny).
This place used have quite a good wine (and craft beer) department, but over the last month or so they’ve turned it into vino on steroids.
Massive range from all over the world (even 4 from New Zealand, cheaper here than over there) and even a tasting bar, brightly lit by green bottles suspended from the ceiling and hopefully with their own wind park.
Watt’s that you say?
Hope they’re securely attached?
Time for a sing-along…
