Four images made it through to the final:

17 August

5 July (I seriously thought that I’d win a photo competition with tis one, but they chose something that was a) obvious and b) boring

27 June

But it has to be 24 June.

Which is highly appropriate, being Johannes Gutenberg’s patronal saint’s day.

  1. Yep, great selection. I’m surprised that no bear glass or food shot made it to your final choice though 🙂
Taking this opportunity to wish you and Mrs jb a very happy year 2014.

  2. oh they are all super!! i especially love the first one with that one little flower…happy new year!!

  3. Great choice, the photo captured even the movement….Happy New Year!

  4. That little red blossom really pops out!
Hope the wind turbines are doing their job well; ours are killing too many eagles and some freeze stiff and still in the winter.

  5. All very nice! Happy New Year and all the best in 2014!

  6. Everyone a winner!!! But I go with your choice. Happy New Year to you and Ms jb.
