Comfortable shoes

In my mind, Birkenstocks are indelibly associated with müsli eaters, political protests and unshaven armpits.

I evidently haven’t moved with the times, because Ms jb informs me that they’re now a FASHION item and are ELEGANT to boot (Sorry for the pun…)

Who would have thunk…
